ABOUT THE MINISTRY
Medmission2000 ministry is unique in that it is a God-given vision to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ mainly to the poor people of the Philippines including Central America and other parts of the world. Based on the last command of our Lord Jesus Christ to His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20, the ministry has provided free medical, surgical and dental treatments as well as spiritual counseling. Every patients and family treated are given the opportunity to hear the Good News. Professional MDs, RNs, and the like together with seasoned pastors, evangelists and Christian workers team-up to give physical and spiritual healing for God's glory.
This evangelistic ministry is usually a short-term mission lasting for two weeks. Since 1999 Professionals, College and High School students and non-medical volunteers have participated in fulfilling the Great Commission. Every volunteer workers are requested to raise support for their airline tickets, food and lodging.
In John 4:35b, Jesus said, "Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields that they are white for harvest." Time is running out and life is precarious. Now more than ever, it behooves every Christian to listen and obey the Lord's command. Here is your great opportunity either to be a "sender" or a "goer."
